Hi. We've got family visiting next month including my two nieces (age 10/13). Probably go out once or twice while they are here. I hadn't thought about it before as we never look for a kids menu when out to eat. Does anyone have any recommendations for children-friendly restaurants here on STX?

Yes I know 13 isn't a child, but they still prefer their hot-dogs and fish&chips, so will probably turn their noses up at Sushi from Dashi, or the amazing blue cheese cheesecake at Rowdy Joes. 😎

I believe Blue Water Terrace has a decent kids menu. You may want to give them a call, as our take out menu is a bit dated.

Off the wall is always a big hit with kids. Good pizza and they can climb on the rocks and collect crabs while they wait for dinner.

Cheeseburgers in Paradise (crab races once a week), Sharkeys, Rumrunners, Brew Pub (crab races there once a week).

I thought the crab races were only at Brewpub (Monday), Divi (Wednesday) and Deep End (Friday)?

Cheeseburgers is the best bet for little kids day or night. By that age though, they should begin to be exposed to more healthy and ambitious choices than hot dogs and fried fish!
