Choice Wireless SLOW?

Hi all,

Been on STT for about 2 months, loving it. Everyone has been great, and it only took 3 trips on 2 different days to get my driver's license 🙂

We just finished out our first month with Choice Wireless. It seemed to work great for the first two weeks, but now is very spotty and slow. Is this normal? Should we be patient and see how it is over the next couple of months or bail to Broadband VI?

Any thoughts appreciated, thanks!

Sara

Run www.speedtest.net 3 times in a row at various times of the day and note the upload. download and "ping" time. See if there is a pattern, like in the evening between certain hours. But do run tests at others times too, like mid-morning or mid-afternoon, if you can.
Note anything different on your side when a value seem out of range.
Also, try to run the test in the same conditions (other users, same computer at the same location if on WiFi).

They've been having a. Tower issue last two weeks. Are you getting a server error? Mine back to running perfectly since Tuesday last week. I was pissed so I called them and they took off all but $10 for this months bill. Great service as always.

Do you have the green packet modem thing? Twice a year I start to slow and have a ton if issues but then I just take it down to the dealer bad have them upgrade the firmware. You'll be back to normal after that. Can't beat it for $50 a month!

We should be reaping the benefits of VINGN (Fiberer network) soon too.

If you watch a lot of netflix or videos they will throttle you. Not sure if you are a heavy downloader or not. 75gb of data before they throttle. Make sure your network is secure as well.
