She is like the proverbial bad penny.
I, for one, will be happy to call.

The only redeeming factor in the Democratic Primary was that Malone got handed his walking papers in his run to replace Donna Christiansen. Bet he was surprised!
A couple locals I spoke with thought he'd gotten to big for his britches and had his fingers in too many pies. Good call.

BTW - Here is Sen. Sanes e-mail address:
Senator Sammuel Sanes

We really do need TERM LIMITS for our Senators.
It's the only way to be sure that people do not become too entrenched and we don't continue to pay vast sums in retirement benefits, etc.

Your tax dollars at work: DeJongh's Attorney General defends Chucky's case in court for her.

So hurry and pay up that higher property tax. It goes towards the Chucky defense fund. Thanks for the corruption, John. Why didn't you ask Chucky to print another one of her fake diplomas this time a law degree and defend herself? Sigh.

It seems that the attorney from the AG's office is more in agreement with Chucky's attorneys that the issue requires court opinion rather than that the AG's office actively supports her reinstatement ...

Right On and applause for Sen. Capehart.
If I lived in STX, I'd be voting for this woman above all the other spineless wonders that presently inhabit the VI Legislature.

I am so disgusted by this whole dog and pony show that I could spit.
It doesn't matter how you spin it, Chucky Hansen was convicted and sentenced for her crimes which amounted to willfully defrauding the VI Gov., The People of the Virgin Islands and her constituents and should NEVER been allowed on any ballot in the first place!

Where are the rest of the Senators that are willing to stand up and remove this woman from office? Her entire tenure is a joke and it's not a laughing matter.

Gov. DeJongh, Atty. General Vincent Frazer and all present sitting Senators have done a huge disservice to the People of the Virgin islands that this woman has willfully and purposely defrauded. Shame on all of them!

Only in the Virgin Islands and it shows how absolutely corrupt the system is and shall continue to be. Just remember all those fence sitting Senators that did absolutely NOTHING and stood by while waiting to see which side of their bread would be buttered. With the exception of Capehart, NONE were willing to stand up with integrity to do correct moral and ethical thing.

It is an insult to all hardworking, taxpaying people of the Virgin Islands but I guess this must be what the majority of people in STX must wish: To be governed by a crook and
a liar and indulge a rule of lawlessness and corruption which permeates our society and of which Mrs. Hansen has become the poster child.

Way beyond digusted here.

Lol! Who will listen to us lowly voters? I keep wishing for a situation where I earn cash only so I can control how much, if any, taxes I pay.

There was a previous protest a few years ago? What was that about and what was the outcome? I can't remember.

The reality is that "Chucky" will be the top vote-getter, garnering three times as many votes as the next closest candidate.

Furthermore, if she ran for governor she would win by a landslide.

That's because her voters vote on Fish Fry's and free t-shirts not job performance or ethics

Bert Bryan should have just let it go. He more so than most should know we have an injustice system, so why bother? He's rallied her supporters. Now they just might write her in for governor!

Very interesting, because now you have two Courts that potentially could render opposing opinions on the same issue. Who is the Supervisor of Elections to follow? She could be held in contempt by both.

Let's hope so!

This debacle only proves that it is time that the voters in the Virgin Islands insist on term limits for Senators and make it happen.

A society of sheep must in time beget a government of wolves."
