i am moving to stt and was wondering if there is any place to get good gormet coffee

there was a post about this a while back cause i am obsessed alson...i think it was under coffee shops...there are a few good cafes apparantly. no starbucks 🙁

i have this secret hope the coffee will be better than here cause they are closer to central america...just a dream

Glad to here no starbucks because if you really know your coffee, they suck! I am personally a favorite of the little local coffee shops.

i am getting to be a fan of the little local ones as well...they have a lot of atmosphere to them. the only thing around here is they tend to be really inconsistent, and you never know what you will get. At least a Starbucks latte is a Starbucks latte on Manhattan, or in Kansas...consistency is good!

Yeah, like a MacDonalds is a MacDonalds. There's more to coffee than consistency.

The Crete Taco and Doughnut in Illinois has the BEST coffee!!! Strange combo of doughnuts and tacos, but the coffee is great!

Here on STT there are few places to try. My Fave is the Calypso Cafe, in the very back of the Jewels watch store on Main Street. Beans, Bytes and Websites used to be great, too, but I haven't been there in ages. Anyone else?
