Do you have to board your animals when you relocate? I have two dogs. Also- what else do you have to set in the holding area when you move? We plan on selling everything except a few changes of clothes, his dvd collection along with some of the childrens toys- Plan on getting everything when we finally move there. Going to come check out homes hopefully this yr so we have a better idea of what to expect. I heard the middle and high school level schools aren't great in the public system but the elementary schools are good- any thoughts? I found out tuition costs for the oldest of my children who will need middle school education - WOW- 4k higher than here in the states. LOL- Go figure- Looking forward to the move though- starting to make plans about NOT buying things and saving saving saving-- going to prep the kids in about 6 months when things truely look like the move can happen, have to adjust them to the idea that ALL their things are not going-

Hello,

There isn't a quarantine for pets. Visit the Moving with Pets section of this web site. Go to the Home link at the very top of this page and then from there select the Pets section.

As for boarding. If you don't have an apartment (that accepts pets) or a short term rental/hotel that allows pets when you arrive then either leaving the dogs back home until you have a place or boarding them would be your options.

I am not sure what you mean by 'what else do you have to set in the holding area when you move'?

Coming down for a visit is a great idea.

Some of the public elementary schools are ok, you need to visit them, talk to some of the administration & teachers and see what you think.
