I need to get a driveway and a concrete slab poured. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks.

Hi I am in San Diego so I am not much help, I can tell you the base needs to be compacted some so the ground won't settle and crack your slab. A newer method is to use plastic under the sand so the concrete wil not cure so fast and last longer. Just some help. I could use some info on the work load down there because I think i would like to live in the islands. Semi retired so i have an income but need part time for sure. Do you think you and I could sit outside and mix one pail at a time? LOL. By the end, we will know everything about each others lives there is to know. I think is sounds like fun! Seriously, I will ask the guy who does all the work for me, as he had a foundation poured that has never cracked.....basically is perfect.
