just wondering if there were any big construction jobs going on on st.thomas or st. john now or in the near future new,school,mall,hotels.etc. thanks kenny

I don't know about STT and St John but STX should have something coming with the resort and casino in planing.

On STT there is the Yacht Haven project...and Lovenlund is just about finished.

There are loads of construction projects in the islands. They are always looking for skilled workers. I say skilled, because they have been forced into less-than-skilled labor.

But, I belive he was looking for 'big' contruction projects, Rich. Although, to me even a house is a BIG project! haha! And I second Rich's comment about skilled labor.

A big Library Project is coming up soon near tutu - Call Roy's Construction.
Yacht Haven is pretty big - call Manhattan.

On STT Marriott has two big construction jobs going on right now. Frenchmans Cove construction will last through 2011 and the Ritz Carlton $45million dollar upgrade is going on now through the beginning of 07. I know both sites are always looking for good people.
