contemplating a move

Hello everyone, my wife and I are about tired of the mainland mentality. We both have lived in different states and are well round culturally. However, no matter were you live (as for us) the fast paced life,impatience/rd. rage mentality that is becoming more and more prevelant has begun to take it's toll on us. With that said we are looking at the USVI as a potential retirement location. Currently my wife works in the travel ind. and I'm in law enforcement and will remain there for the next 13 yr.s waiting for our pensions and supp.ret.plans to hit the 20 yr mark. With that said we are exploring the possibility of moving to either STX or STT to est. a island short cruise/hopping bus. for tourists on our sailboat...a scaled down version of the barefoot windjammer cruises I guess one could call it. We feel that with a secured monthly source of income, using the boat as our home + a Li'l business on the side would be the perfect way to not only exist, but intergrate into the USVI way of life. We would appreciate anyone with advise/info. in this area that could help us make the dream become a reality.
