From time to time I see posts from folks inquiring about Castle Aura out east on STX. To that end, I thought there might be folks on this forum that would be interested in this story.

I just learned from a friend of mine who knew the Countess well that she has passed. Unfortunately, I never met her.

Thank you for sharing. I hope they continue to take very good care of the famous east-end landmark and wish it was open for tours.

I heard the windows are being replaced up there. Happy to hear they are keeping it up.

Castle was sold several months ago.  It will be turned into an event venue and the surrounding land will be developed.  Probably some commercial use as well as residential development.

Dear friends of Nadia,
I would like to ask any of you who want to share memories of her to contact me, because we are planning to collect those of loved ones and honor her memory through a site related to her life and work.

Please, anyone who wants to get involved, email me to [email protected].

Thank you!

The article says her late husband was Sid Farber, but then the article says she is survived by her husband Yuri Farber.
