Actually American Samoa (sp) wasn't on the list & it's by far the worst, something like 80% 😮
The more fingers the government has in your pie...........the more they control, the more chances they have to steal!!!
However, I think deJohn has been trying to clean house! In the 2 or so yrs he's been in office, I've noticed more positive things, especially here in STX, then the entire last couple of administrations!

I don't think Governor Blagojevich would appreciate you calling DC more Corrupt than Illinois. He has worked very hard and deserves some credit!!!!

Whoa......when did New Jersey fall out of first place?

Today's (Dec. 31, 2008) newspaper headline (really)....."New Jersey and Corruption: Perfect Together". The story continues with: "As long as public officials have pockets, it seems corruption will be an issue in New Jersey".

I, for one, am surprised at the recent crackdowns on corruption in the USVI, and I think it is a turn for the good.

Take heart. It could only be worse in New Mexico. Our boy Bill is on his way to DC to do a 'hug, hug, kiss, kiss' with Hillary while our state is in the Red for a bundle...
