Hi - my family and I are moving in Aug/Sep and want to send our 3 year old daughter to private school. The research I've done so far has led me to the Country Day School on STX. Does anyone have any info to share about the school or any recommendations for other schools.

We are getting ready for our first PMV and want to visit all options.

Thanks!

My daughter graduated from Country Day and I have many friends who teach there and/or have kids there. I would definitely choose it over the others. However, I am sure that there are others who would be equally partisan about their kids' schools.
If everything else is equal (that would probably only be Good Hope) then go with the most convenient or just your gut sense of the fit between the school and your child.

Country Day and Good hope are the best private schools on the island. Please do some research on the board, it will help you have a better pmv. If you do a search or just read the threads you will find an incredible wealth of information. Much better then you will get from any settlers book.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the info. It was all very helpful. I have been reading the boards on all types of subjects and it has really helped us map out our PMV.

Thanks Again

I also would recommend at considering Good Hope too. Not sure where you'll live, but we're talking STX not some huge chunk of land that'll take you 2 hours to drive across. Both schools have very well established and well known alums thoughout the US and USVI.
