Crime happens everywhere on island.

Since now living here for 10 years, we know what to do to try to keep safe.

We now live on a gated rd. The gate was the best thing we ever did. We live on a private rd. We have 2 other houses on it. We all pitched in and gated the rd.

We have a security system.

Driveway alerts are great, they let you know if anyone is on the property. We actually put these around the perimeter of the property.

You can set up cameras also. Get a dog if you can.

We use a club on our vehicles.

The more systems you have in place at your home the harder it is for the thief.

We do not go into Csted or Fsted late at night. Things seem to happen there late at night.

I can remove a club from your steering wheel in in 2 seconds.

But it is a deterrent for those less skilled.
