I was growing so sick and tired of the extra traffic from Beeston Hill on the way into town. Apparently they've been able to get a lot of the finishing touches done on the bypass! I pulled over and snapped this picture on the way home tonight. This is from the entrance at the top of Basin Triangle road.
I know some people say it will take away from businesses in Christiansted, but I'm just happy that I no longer have to wait in that dreadful line through town. I think they did a great job! Looks there's stripes!

That's a good one!! I read the title and thought to myself "NO WAY" and then the picture . . .
Fortunately my faith in the way things are on STX was restored. They will be working (or not) on that bypass forever.

Just having some fun but Juanita had to come out of the gate with her wet blanket. 😀
It's difficult to find a stock photo with mountains, no cars driving on the right side, and with no big green signs!
I was hoping this beast would be finished before I moved away, but I guess I'll have something to look forward in the future. Think it will be done by 2020?
