Yep, they raised the fee from $125 to $200 to fly a pet in cabin under seat.
This will impact the ability of HSSTT and our other shelters and rescue organizations to help get pets off island to adopters and stateside rescue organizations.
Apparently this fee change only affects travelers from STX/STT.
PR rates remain at $125.
This was done without any notice or reason for fee increases.

Reah from HSSTT posted it on Facebook.
They were sending some pups off island when they were informed of the price increase. Not a good last minute surprise.
Yes, American Airlines still has the $125 fare but having the increase on Delta cuts back on traveler options for flying pups out in cabin for all rescue organizations.
