I am looking into moving to Saint Thomas. I have no timeline. I would actually like to live on St. John or water Island where I have friends. I have been looking for a dental hygiene job for a while now on the islands. Anyone have any leads for any dental hygiene jobs? Or know of any temp agencies? Thank you

Good morning,

Someone else will know more than I do about dental practices on STT. I'm not aware of any temp agencies.

There is only one dental practice on St John, and a new hygienist recently started there (in addition to someone else who's been there a long time). She can only work as a dental assistant while waiting for her license to come through.

The licensing process takes a looooooong time here, and as our government budget problems worsen it will not get any faster. Start now if you are hoping to work right away when you move; apparently 8 months is considered swift.
