Dr. Merritt is off island until the end of August - does anyone have another dermatologist on St. Croix to recommend? I have been google searching and coming up empty.

A number of times I've been seen by Gergory Moorman, MD. Though he is a plastic surgeon, he does dermatological work. He's taken off numerous spots caused by sun etc. etc. His office is in Gallows Bay and you couldn't ask for a more caring doctor - I never feel rushed through. His office is open 2 days a week while the rest of the time he does surgery at the hospital. His office number is 340.719.4453.

Oh, thank you for that! I saw some previous references for him and wasn't sure if he did general dermatology. I have some spots on my face that I think are just hives but want to get them looked at. I just don't want a boob job, ha ha! Whoops!

Dr Moorman is off Island till Aug 19th.

I guess he and Dr. Merritt took a trip together then.
Drat. Guess I'm going to have to get on a plane.

JulieKay, I used Dr. Garcia out in F'sted before. He nailed my issue, I was very happy. He's not a dermatologist, but he's been on island for 70 years & he knows his stuff. He doesn't take appointments, it's first come first served, and his rate is $60 for a visit. I love the man!
