Has anyone used Dial-A-Ride for people with disabilities and health problems?

From what I understand it's a one time $25 registration fee and the rates for trips are lower than taxis and 1 companion is allowed to ride for free.

How reliable are they and are they more forgiving about transporting groceries than the safari bus?

I can only speak about STT. You have to call in advance to make an appointment, and yes, they are caring and reliable. I've met some of the employees and know people who've used the service. Nice vehicles.
