I have YET ANOTHER job interview tomorrow. It is up the hill from the synagogue in Crystal Gade. While I think I know where it is could someone help with driving directions from Mandahl just in case? Best place to park around there?

Thanks!

I would park at the Fort and walk it - IF this is a daytime walk.

Up the hill from the synagogue? Hmm, my old stomping grounds. Is it ON Crystal Gade? because the easiest way is to walk up the street. It IS steep, though. (From the Ft Christian parking lot: go to the post office and turn right, turn left at the stop light- you will have a nice historic tour- the Reform Church on your left, the Election office on your right, the synagogue on the right, Ronnie's Crystal Palace on your right at the top of the hill!)

Thanks. That is sort of where I had it in my mind. Yes, it's Lucinda's studio in Crystal Gade. Maybe Ronnie will let me park in his place? hint ... hint ... hint.

Hey Pamela,
How about Google Earth it? Do you have the actual physical address that you could plug into google? You could google the synagogue and go from there. A SUIT?...get outta here!

Good luck, and hi to the hubby.

Nope, a suit, knee highs and closed toe shoes. I am tired of looking for work so I have pushed it up a notch. I have a bit of a jewelry addiction (long story) so I put on earrings, necklace, watch, bracelet and ONE ring then take something off. :@) Wish it could be the clothes.

Thanks for the directions and the good wishes. I think it went well. It would be a really FUN job .... the art work is lovely and the artist very personable. I did find a parking space - well out of everyone's way anyway - so it wasn't too much a hassle but taking my Jeep Cherokee back down those twisty turny roads was a challenge for me. I don't spend a lot of time in town.

Will let all of you know. Thanks for the support. This economy SUCKS!

Don't wear expensive jewelry up in that area. Bring a pepper spray - have it in your hand. I'm really serious. I used to live right near there and have seen enough to advise caution.
