Little to No Road Rage! You can always tell a tourist by his/her hand gestures.

You can also tell some tourists by the death grip they have on the steering wheel. 🙂

O-OH!!!
This means, I am still considered Tourist?
Not good.....as I use my hands - don't use the horn.
Is one honk is to go?
and two honk is thank you?
Is this correct?
Or is it in reverse?

I don't honk to thank people for letting me in traffic. I flash my lights or wave.

I wave, honk, flash the peace sign, do a doughnut (in my station wagon), then hit my hydraulic switches as I pull away

The only road rage I've seen is in the people BEHIND you at a traffic light.
Some locals have this amazing ability to honk their horn the MOMENT the light turns green.

So I was sitting at a red light. It turns green, and just as I take my foot off the brake, the guy behind me honks his horn.

About 100 yards up the road he passes me.

Another 100 yards down the road, he slows down to let a line of traffic come out of a side street.

Then in town he's waving walkers across the street.

But he had to honk when the light turned green.

Welcome to St. Croix 🙂
