On another topic, DLCA (Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs) was mentioned. Their web site includes nine areas of regulation. If anyone is interested in starting a business in one of these areas, check http://dlca.vi.gov:

Architects, Engineers, and Land Surveyors
Barbers, Beauticians, & Manicurists
Certified Public Accountants
Electricians
General Contractors
Plumbers
Real Estate Appraisers
Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons
Social Workers

Does anyone know if they are involved in private schools?

The DLCA site has been down for over a year. Another fine example of how efficient our government runs...and no one from dlca can make a resonable guestimate as to when it will actually be up and running...
