I hear of alot of people looking for jobs on this sight. I just thought that someone could use a job when they got to STX. This is an entry level job? Yes!! But that is what I did to live on an Island to survive. You can't start at the top. Especialy here. In every job you get on STX, coming from the US. You WILL be on the bottom of the list. It is like starting over in a strange land just after a disaster. Sound familiar "Hugo" survivors? Even those of us who are new to the islands have some sort of feeling of how it feels to be alone and without anything on an Island. The first time that I drove in STX gave me the sence that everybody thought the they were the only person on the Island.

My husband is planning on relocating in January. The rest of the family 6 months later. He needs a job and remodeling is what he's doing right now to our house stateside to get it ready for sale. Carpentry, drywall, electrical, plumbing, you name it he can do it. I'm writing this for him because he is out fixing someone else's computer right now...but he'd want me to. Please email him at jeff@jnrhome.com if you're still looking for someone. He'll be there sometime in mid to late January. Has to take the Praxis test here on Jan. 7th before he leaves.

Thanks,
Melissa

aaron; what kind of entry level job is it?pay?required skills?hours, etc?i'm planning to move to croix in the next few weeks, no later than jan3. ill need a job and aplace to stay. 500$ a month or less if possible. i think i would rather live on stcroix if i can find work there. st thomas looks like to much ritz and more city like. i more of a country type, laid back and dont have to be around hussle and bussle every day unless i have no choice do to the working situation. also what about diving? i dont have my open water, however i have dove in aruba and florida and this is one main reason i'm moving further south.
