Does anyone have a Bank of America on line account?

Has anyone ever opened a Bank of America checking/savings account on line, from here on island? I was looking at their interest rates, and it's way better than FirstBank or Bank of STX. I'm just a little nervous about doing the whole process without ever going in and sitting down and talking to a real person. I guess I haven't totally reached that "techy" stage, yet.

If not Bank of America, any others you recommend?

Thanks!

B of A has been in the news a lot and a lot of layoffs last year and even more coming soon. They choked when they bought out Countrywide and may have comitted suicide, just a long rope and they are still falling. I bank wth them and am looking for a second account at a different bank soon, just for backup. I don't keep any money with them except to pay bills.

Check into USAA. - I believe that the general public can take advantage of their banking services.

Like Speee1dy we set up our B of A account well before moving here... we use it for billpay, and direct deposit from work.
They have an arrangement with Scotiabank - if you use a Scotia ATM, you don't get charged fees.

Good to know! I have Bank of America and am moving to STX in November. Are there many Scotia ATMs?
What other banks are available on the island??
