St. Croix has the Pets from Paradise Program that allows someone going stateside to bring along an animal, paid for by the Humane Society, and met at the airport in the states by the no kill shelter. Does STT have this program too? If not, why? What would be involved in doing so?

I remember a story of some tourist adopting a dog at Barktoberfest. I am sure the system is there, as to whether they use it regularly, I don't know

Annabel has so much on her plate with the Humane Society, she is stretched very thin...she's dong the jobs of four or five people...she pretty much IS the Humane Society. If you called there and spoke to her, and there is no interest, it's probably because she just doesn't have time...she works 7 days a week...12 to 14 hours/day...send me a PM and I'll give you her number and also Dehlia's number (she runs the Cate Cafe program and may have other ideas...)...
