Try doing your search for Deltec or Force 10, or maybe prefab. Be sure to change the default to all dates.

I think I remember Bill Weatherwax was doing some work on one....don't know the name of his contractor company, but I'm sure someone would know...or the phone book perhaps...this was on stx.

Deltec and Force 10 aren't "dome" homes.
There was a guy that was going to build a concrete "dome" home on the East end but the HOA would not let him. I think it may have been more to do with the proposed color that the shape.

finding a good building contractor in the VI is really tough....seems like the 'good' stories are pretty few in number.

Deltec offers a multi sided house. They come in various sizes. If you would like I know a person who has built two of them. PM if you are interested in seeding one of them.

i am a new builder of dome homes. I do not use portland cement for the shells. i use a specialty cement that is not water based. it does not crack or shrink, is waterproof, fireproof, flexible, insulates well. i am not in the VI, but would like to be. was planning to come down sometime for a look around. concrete domes are hurricane proof.

The message above that DELTEC is not doing homes is wrong. PMl me and I'll give you the name of a guy who has built two of them. By the way they are giving 20% due to their slow business.

There are several Deltec homes on both STX and STT. Two on STX are older homes that went through Marylin with little or no problems.
