is the economy picking up on the island and what about the emploment rate and what career is in demand

ask again after Thanksgiving, this is a very slow time any year.

In the tourism sector, it will probably be a very bad season again as in my experience, we are usually a year or so behind any upswing in the economy on the mainland. It takes a while before people are comfortable enough to spart spending extra money on a winter vacation.

condos occupancy is down about 25%, and will be real bad during the next three months. . That should tell you something!
