I would sugest having one of your friends mail you an Island Trader and a Daily News, although you can get the Daily News on-line at http://www.virginislandsdailynews.com/

You may find that STT is a bit priceier than the majority of the Sates. St. Thomas Dairy's milk is $5.50/gal!! Gas is around $2.45/gal (and has been for quite some time...like 2 years!!) Housing, depending on the area, for a one bedroom apartment, figure $800-$1000/mo. But! Cruzan is only $3 a bottle at K-mart! And cigs are only $15/carton! Haha! Yes, there truly is a price to live in Paradise! Haha!

Hello Joe,

You can find some cost of living information on this site at:

http://vimovingcenter.com/cost_of_living/

What job field?

You might want to read the Settlers Handbook. Its a guide to living/moving to the USVI. Its shown at the top of this page.

Joe

Just happen to see your message. Wisenbaler is not a common name. Have been working to build a family history. My relatives come from PA & NY. Would be interested in hearing from you to exchange information.

Please send me an email.
