I have Sprint with a St. Croix number and I cannot get the caller id to work. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a Sprint phone and the only numbers I can see are other Sprint cellphones. One time I saw a Cingular phone on my caller ID but that was rare. I guess it's a Virgin Islands thing, I don't know.

We have no idea why, but yes caller-id on the islands just doesn't seem to exist. You should get caller id from numbers state side though. You might want to experiment with that.

They consider us a rural area. Not enough people to have the caller ID. Puerto Rico has it. If you can fanagle getting a PR #, it should work. Sometimes you will see a Cingular number on your phone. I understand that the other companies use Cingular's swiching devices and some of them do it every now and again. I get it on Centennial sometimes also.
