*My husband and I are wanting to move to the USVI. We prefer St. Croix island. However, we do not have a jod yet. My husband is a PA (Physician Assistant) here in the cincinnati, Ohio area and we were wondering if there is any need for one there? I don't know how to go about it, who to ask, what doctors clinics to call. So if there is any ideas, comments, or advice we would really appreciate.

This is one job you MIGHT be able to get while off island. I would look at the phone book attached to the site for MD's and start faxing resumes. My guess is you'll still have to come down for a face to face before actually being hired.

I know the hospital on STT uses PAs who are travelers in the ER, unsure about STX.

Hello Heidi,
You might try what Linda suggested. Look in the yellow pages http://www.viphonebook.com and pull up physicians and clinics ect and then call them and inquire about jobs and fax resumes to them and follow up.
