I heard that the Diamonds are cheaper in USVI than Mainland.
Is it worth going to USVI for diamond shopping?
Now the diamond prices are going up by $100 every week.
Our budget is about $20,000.00 for the diamond and you can only get a good quality one carat with this money here where as you could've gotten two carats few years ago.
Could you tell me how much cheaper in USVI?

Yes, buying diamonds here is much cheaper than anywhere else. No sales tax, Duty Free, sheer volume of sales...you'll save anywhere from 30 - 50% off mainland US prices.

Marty is not exaggerating when he says you'll save a bunddle on jewelery on STT. My wife has bought so much of the bling-bling there that I feel like I'm supporting another son behind the counter. And, it always is appraised for 2-3 times what she paid. Your savings will pay for a nice vaction too.
