Good afternoon all.

I'm researching different neighborhoods and houses around the island and was wondering if anyone lives in Estate St George, knows someone that does or has some experience they could share. It seems like a great location with some elevation on some of the houses further north in the neighborhood. What is the HO association like? What are their fees? I will be going over this with a realtor as well but thought I would put this out there to see if anyone has some knowledge they would like to share.

Side question. Do you know someone that is selling their home and may not be listing it with a realtor? Looking for a place on the West end(North of Centerline) preferably but may consider other options. Rain forest would be awesome. 2+ bdrm. Elevated. Half acre or more would be great. 300K or less.

Check your local newspapers for FSBO ads and ask your realtor if they can ask if there's any other realtors that may have a pocket listing (not advertised on MLS but for sale) that would suit your needs and price range. They can put a blast e-mail out to members on MLS.

I guess you could check Craig's List as well.

I live in STT so can't help you with your query regarding STX neighborhoods or for St. George's in particular. It wouldn't hhurt to contact a realtor and there's no charge.

Thanks Alana33. Already in contact with a realtor but wanted to check the general forum population for any input. 🙂

I've had friends whose family lived in the St. George area until a few years ago.

They liked the area and felt safe there. But crime can happen anywhere as we all know.
