Nessa,

Sent you a PM re: apartments.

We will talk about the bar tending arrangements at your party after you have found one!

🙂

hahaha I love this post!

Onika, you are clever and self-actualized! the world needs more people like that.

Anyway, I have been here 6 mos and I absolutely love St. Thomas. Visited STX for St. Patty's Day and felt trapped even though it was only for 2 nights. Been to STJ many times and just can't imagine living anywhere in the VI but STT. I am from Orlando and have been missing a big city lately. Even though I find Orlando extremely boring (because I lived there all my life, except the 4 years I lived in Jacksonville Beach during college) I am nearing the end of my honeymoon phase as far as island life is concerned and need the taste of a dirty, polluted, ugly, nightclub infested, corporate restaurant cluttered, city. Making a trip back to the real world soon, but just for a few days because then I will be missing St. Thomas. My heart is here now. But I think it's certainly healthy to take vacations, read USA Today, and to not lose touch with where you came from.

- Jen

I can vouch for what Mell said, Onika. I've gotten shoes from Zappo's. Happy shopping!

I am ACTUALLY screaming inside. I am off to check their website now. So, does that include their free shipping return deal?
OMG, I can't stand it!

hmmmmmmm, and, about those who make it in the VI being less materialistic and able to do without "stuff".....perhaps shoes don't count!

After enough years pounding on unforgiving concrete & tile floors you can bet I have a closet full of shoes. Anything that makes my feet & knees feel better I'll spend good money for. I never pretend to be an ascetic.

I don't know about the free shipping on returns at Zappos because I didn't have to return them.

Uh-oh. We may never see Onika again but if we do, I'm thinking she'll be very well shod. 🙂
