Hello, all 🙂

I was wondering if anyone knew if the ferry would be up and running this January? If not how does one get from STT to STX and back? w/o swimming :)....I know....back stroke.

It doesn't look like the ferry will be operable in January. The easiest way to travel betwen STX and STT is by seaplane (Seaborne Airlines) because you can avoid airports.

It supposedly left for the VI on the 14th. Should be around in a week or so. Coast Guard approval could take anther one or two weeks makin the ETA around mid January.

Ronnie;definitely keep your ear to the ground on that one; the rumor is that its coming from "across the pond" England, and the way they do that is actually in another ship. they open the end of the big ship and actually float the other vessels up inside her, and then Moore/tie them off, then close the end. now the whole ship gets under way with the other smaller boats inside. the only catch here is that they wait until all room in the ship is sold. needless to say they fill her before they sail, and this could cause an indeterminate itinerary, due to cancellations, no demand, or whatever; but once their full, it's matter of days and they'll be to sea. just my 2pence:).baja
