Happy Memorial Day everyone,
From time to time people on this board inquire about a ferry to SJU. I don't think it runs regularly, but there is an ad in the VIDN:
"Take advantage of this opportunity for a Friday to Sunday getaway to enjoy the shopping, scenery, and night life of Puerto Rico."
Departs Cruz Bay STJ 7 a.m. on Friday June 1st, then picking up passengers at Red Hook STT at 7:15. Returns from SJU at 11 a.m. on Sunday June 3rd.

That is sooooo awesome!! Do they take cars? How often do they do this?

No, they don't take cars. They do this about 4 times a year mainly for people to make major purchases and take them home without having to pay shipping.

ms411 do you know if they do one way? My friend moving there may be interested? He has some stuff to ship but not too much.

Yes, they will do one way, or at least that's what they told me when I asked late last year. But it depends on space. That boat can get pretty get pretty crowded in Nov.
