Hey everyone!
Im coming to St Johns for a job that I will be working for accommodation for 4 months. Is it a realistic expectation to find like a second shift restaurant/bar job quite easily for that amount of time?

Overall yes it is a fair possibility on STJ, depends mostly on the season and the time of year, depends on where your accommodations are for travel logistics to get to a second job, start your networking in person as soon asap, 'Connections' is your friend.

It is possible, but a lot of people won't consider you if they know its only for four months. The first thing you are going to want to do is get your health card. You will need that to work in the restaurant industry. https://doh.vi.gov/programs/environmental-health/how-obtain-health-card

It's already close to high season being near its end. Living on STJ is costly. Not easy to find affordable housing.
