Finding a Therapist In the USVI's

Hi,

My husband and I are looking at moving to the USVI's, most likely St. Thomas. I have been trying to find a therapist but I am having trouble finding an online listing of therapists for the USVI's. Can someone suggest a website?

I am specifically looking for a therapist that specializes in EMDR if any one has suggestions that would be great.

Thanks!

Check with your insurance company. Most times they can provide you with a list of "in network" doctors in the area, even though some may no longer be here or practicing:-(, it's a start. 😎 Hope it helps.

Check out the VI Psychologist Association website. I'll see if I can find a specific name for you. www.vipsychologists.org

Wow I had no idea what EDMR was and googled it. Sounds interesting. An additional suggestion: Find a beach and bring a blanket and a cooler; spend the day.

Me and my boyfriend do this once a week and I am telling you that it WORKS for stress and defiantly brings out good vibes. Not saying its a replacement just an additional treatment. ;D
