I have been looking at online classified ads for rental apartments and there never seems to be much listed. Is this typical for St Thomas? Should I wait until the low season to move there, would that make increase the likelihood of having more choices?

Hard to find apartments on line. Look at Island Trader - go to the Daily News Site www.virginislandsdailynews.com then click the link on the left side of page to the Island Trader.

Some websites wont post rentals or jobs available on the island on the internet because many/all wont hire or rent to you until you are here.
