Hi daddycat:
Never fished St. Croix, but have asked a similar question in anticipation of being there. I can tell you that responses were few, but there are at least a couple of places-do a search with "fishing" and "St. Croix." Additional research revealed that there is a good inshore fishery if you can stomach it. I also learned the island used to have a world class bonefish fishery on the South side until the flats were ruined by construction of the refinery. I have to think that some of that has to still be there, but those in the know are tight lipped about it.

Let me know how it goes.

Peace

I fish primarily from my boat but know a lot of people fish off the Frederiksted pier as well as on the point over next to Molasses pier. There may be beaches people fish from but I don't know for sure.

The Salt River.
There are numerous spots you can walk out to, especially from the Judith's Fancy side.

When I did my night dive off the F'sted pier, there were more fisherpersons there than I could count!

They cautioned us not to get tangled in their lines! :@)

My boyfriend spear fishes out by Lagoon all the time and sometimes by Hibiscus Beach.
