Taking the seaplane over to St. Thomas on Sunday. Will look at boats for sale in St Thomas, then Tortola on Monday, which is a question I have. Does anyone know what the earliest ferry I could catch on Monday?

Will stay at Bunker Hill on Sunday night and Hotel 1829 on Monday. They didn't have anything available Sunday....Does anyone have good or bad remarks about Bunker Hill?

We have friends coming in on Tuesday for the day on a cruise ship. We will taxi over to Magens bay since I hear Coki Point is having some issues with the beach and/or water not being safe to be at. Is Magens Bay the best idea or can you give me some suggestions? Thanks!

Marlene

Here's the ferry schedule:

Tuesday there are a lot of ships in. Personally, I'd go to Sapphire Beach.

Yes, but I've met my brother in October when 5 ships came in! We rented a car and went to Coki Point. Ahead of everyone else and got a great spot. We will be geting a taxi this time and they want to buy their booze first....so we will be getting whats left of the pickings.

Is there any snorkeling on Sapphire Beach. I wonder if we should bring our gear?

5 ships in October is nowhere as busy as 4 ships in February. The island is full with hotel guests, locals are not on vacation, etc. There's snorkeling at Sapphire but don't think it's as good as Coki.

I never thought about that Trade. You're right. The hotel was dead when we went last time, and I had a tough time booking a place. They had a last minute cancellation at 1829. And the cost was over $100 difference!

You're the best!
