We have found a young dog in Estate St. John, STX. He is black with white markings and is wearing a green collar. No tag. He appears to have been on his own for a while. If he sounds familiar, please call me at 718-6744.
Thanks,
Juanita

There has been an ad in the paper for the last week regarding someone who lost a brown dog with white markings. Not sure if its the same dog or not, but thought I would mention it.

The dog is very dirty. I suppose he could be brown instead of black. Also, the collar might be blue. Hard to tell. I looked in today's paper, but didn't see anything. I will put an ad in the paper tomorrow and check the shelter and vets' offices for lost dogs. If the ad you saw has only been this past week, it's probably not him. This dog has been on the street much more than a week. If you still have the paper ,and can give me the phone number, I will call (though I hate to get someones hopes up). I put new tags on my pets last month, when we got new cell numbers. This is a reminder of just how important that can be!

The number I saw for the brown and white dog is 771-7493. I don't know where estate St. John is, but this says their dog was lost in the Cotton Valley, Hope & Carton Hills area. Blue eyes, and ear cut. 771-7493.

Thanks everybody. We took the dog to the vet, who said he is about 5 months old and has been neglected for about 5 months! So...we're keeping him. His new name is Bentley, and he is filling out nicely, getting lots of baths, vitamins, antibiotics and dips. Our other two dogs seem to like him, but the cat is still adjusting!

Congratulations to Bentley - I am sure that you will make up for his early neglect.
