I was told that UVI offers free classes for residents over 50 years old. Of course it's Saturday afternoon, so I have to wait until Monday morning to call. Does anyone here know anything about this? Thanks.

And Monday is Labor Day, so you'll have to wait till Tuesday!

If this is true, Ronnie can take the VI History class he has wanted to take, although some of us will have to wait for awhile! 🙂

Just an FYI...UVI does indeed offer free classes to senior citizens. You must have a senior citizen card issued by the Dept. of Human Svcs. You must be 60 years old.

I'm still too young!!!! This is a fabulous benefit for seniors to keep the brain active. I only talked to one person at UVI, who said there weren't any exclusions, you just have to take the pre-req's first, just like we did the first time around.
