After alot of searching and even more dead ends.. I now understand that I will have to stay in a hotel in order to find residence in STT. Can anyone suggest an affordable hotel? I'm not looking for a vacation rental, just something simple.

This might suit but, if not, at least talk to Ronnie, the owner/host and see if he has any recommendations. He's helped out many a newbie in the same situation as yourself.

Two Sandals By The Sea in Nazareth (Red Hook area) might also be worth a look. Good luck!

Remember, though, that Ronnie no longer has Villa Fairview.

He doesn't? When did this happen and why?

I guess that means I should stop telling people to look into it, thanks!

The Galleon House is another option. Check their website and give them a call.

Close to a year ago but, if he has the space, he still has Crystal Palace which is the link I posted. 😀

Villa Fairview was where he accommodated the newbies, not Crystal Palace which is a B&B designed more for visitors and which has only a few rooms.
