All,

Am looking to buy some wooden dining room chairs on St. Thomas.

Does anyone have suggestions/recommendations?

Need 8-10 chairs, darker wood (cherry/mahogany color) to go with a large table. Need them in the next few weeks.

I know of only a few places to buy furniture- can someone enlighten me?

Ft. Mylner- Cloth Horse
Island Empire - behind hospital at Fortress Self Storage
Nutmeg Designs (have never been- just heard of it)
2-3 places in Four Winds area- Rooms2Go, some other place

I hear there's a new place in Bovoni (Ageo or something?)- anyone been there?

Thanks in advance for the advice/help.

Best,

LR

You might try Island Empire Furniture, up on the hill behind the hospital (turn between the two medical buildings).

Good suggestion, Max. Liz has some gorgeous stuff!

Also, LR, have you thought about just putting a "WANT" ad in the Islander Trader? So many people have things that they're vaguely thinking about selling and just don't get around to it. Just a thought.

There is also a furniture store in Fortress Storage called Quinn House Galleries. They had a lot of chairs last time I was there and some nice asian furniture. Some pricey, some not. And not that I like K-mart that much, but they were selling some wooden chairs that were not too bad. They were on sale last time I checked. Good luck and let us know what you find!!!
