I'm back in Seattle this week and the cheap stuff (87) is $4.21 at the lowest in the suburbs and the cheapest diesel is $4.99. Looking forward to returning to STX pricing now...

OK, I'm answering my own query now...

I found diesel at $3.99 at the Exxcel station across from Plaza Extra right down the street from Sunny Isle. The station across the street from Shauma is selling it at $4.49.

Has anybody found any cheaper than $3.99.

It's a shame we can't do something like this here in USVI: http://autos.msn.com/everyday/GasStations.aspx?m=1&l=1&zip=98074&x=16&y=11

In AB, Canada we pay the equivalent of $5.13/gal for reg (1.35$ /L x 3.8) right now, and oil is our main business!

Just read it on Fox News .com, it cost the Saudi,s $ 2.00 to produce 1 that is right 1 barrel of oil. 2.00 / 2.00 / 2.00, two dollars per barrel.

I don't think that's right. That sounds like the price to produce a gallon of crude from the upstream end of the business not a barrel. Take a look at global (including Saudi Arabia) pricing here: http://tonto.eia.doe.gov/dnav/pet/pet_pri_wco_k_w.htm

If you start here you will find all the data you can ever use on global production rates, pricing, consumption, etc.: http://tonto.eia.doe.gov/dnav/pet/pet_sum_top.asp
