What' that glow we see shining over on St Croix? Is Hovensa burning off a lot of oil? Looks like it''s huge to see it from over here in STT.

i saw it when i was driving from the casino area to town tonight, the had their methane or natural gas fire stack burning today when i was driving past and i did not smell burning brush or anything on my drive home tonight so it could be the gas burnoff from hess

The large candelabra flare was burning off product for about 18 hours I believe due to a scheduled turn-around for one of the units.

I had to go to work before daylight yesterday and the flames from the burn-off lit up the sky allover the island, or at least from Mon Bijou to the Buccaneer.

Me tribe was doing Pattys Day dance and glow was from fire pit in jungle. You there from over on other island should have come to party. 🙂 Your tribe and ours could have had our coconut juice and rum punch from our maties, ahoy. Drums sounded and we danced around fire pit all night...
