We had the BEST breakfast today at the Domino Club... we've been regulars at the Domino Club for a long time and we had heard that Jewels was cooking breakfast there on select days. (Wed, Sat, and one other day, I can't remember which) but we work and don't tend to have time to go out to breakfast. But, Tabra was off today, and we had celebrated my birthday yesterday and felt in need of a hearty breakfast, so we went over there to try it out.

We both had omelets. I had the Jewels Omelet.... Tomato, Mushrooms, cheese, sausage, maybe other stuff.... it was perfect. The home fries were the best I have ever had. Tabra had a BLT omelet... Bacon, cream cheese, arugula, tomato. We shared a side of biscuits and sausage gravy that was better than my Savannah born Grandma used to make. (Don't tell her I said that!)

I know West Enders have a hard time finding places for breakfast... the F'sted hotel does a good Denny's type breakfast for cheap, but if you want quality food, with fresh ingredients for a good price, I highly recommend the breakfast at the Domino Club.

Hey!
I want to try Domino Club - thanks for the tip. My family has been going to Motown right next to the Fredericksted Hotel (on the ocean side) for breakfast on Sundays. It is AWESOME. They don't have a menu - everyone just gets a plate of saltfish, spinach, hard-boiled eggs, johnny cakes, fruit, and bush tea. It is SO GOOD, and it is about $10 a person. I think they stop serving around 11, so you need to go early, but it is such a nice variety of delicious food.

Anyway, they always have customers but they aren't that crowded, so I wanted to put in a good word.

I love Motown, too... we found them by accident on a Sunday when everyone else had stopped serving brunch and no one was ready for dinner yet. It's hard to eat at 1 pm on a sunday!! 🙂 Try the Domino Club... we loved it.

ANd Terry and Tammy, both thanks!! Terry, looking forward to seeing you in Feb!
