Saw the ad for debates after they had aired. Hopefully they will repeat, but no repeat schedule in the ad.

Delegate Donna's campaign truck was part of the parade. Poor taste!
To convert a festival to something political? Shame. Must be getting desperate.

Since when have Columbus Day parades throughout the US NOT been a venue for participation by political candidates? You may personally consider it in "poor taste"but it's certainly more the norm than not.

I went yesterday , it was the VIPR friendship parade . It is definitely the norm ( like it or not ) , not just here but stateside as well . I went to a 4 of July parade stateside and it was the same thing .

I actually thought it was nice to see some of the candidates out whether I support them or not , shake their hands . Some even mingled afterwards in the food pavilion.

She was not the only candidate participating in the parade.

Thanks, cruzsniron. I was wondering about that. I think any time a candidate participates in an event, it gives the public an opportunity to learn more about them. It also lets them know how people feel about them and how people feel about the issues. It's another marketing channel.

Some of the candidates know not to waste time on me, because I have told them flat out I'm not supporting them and why. It was funny to me to see Stacey Plaskett's reaction to me at an event the other week. She didn't extend her hand, because I think she knew I wouldn't be effusive. She'll win without my vote and she knows that.

The only problem with that is incumbents usually win plurality races. 🙁
