Need help finding a salon that specializes in highlighting with foils. Any recommendations? Also, need a stylist for my child's haircut. Looking for someone that does a great job but won't rip me off. If you can give me the name of the salon, stylist, phone #, and address that would be great!!

I've been very happy with Annette at Under the Palms for myself and Todd for my daughter. The prices are a lot higher than what I was used to paying stateside, but very good quality and you can get in quickly. I pay $55 for a wash, cut and style, and $22 for my daughter. They're in Gallows Bay in the building right across from the post office. Their number is 719-4545. They're open Tuesday through Saturday. I've also been impressed with Crystal, who owns Indulgence Salon in Sunny Isles. I know that many people on this board are very pleased with the service there, as well.

I use Jennifer at Indulgence. I haven't personally had color done by her, but have talked to others that have and they are happy.

Frongillo's for color - it's a husband and wife that own the salon and she's a color expert. Her highlights for my sister were really pretty, very natural. Located in Gallows Bay - 719-7575, in the same building as Case Place. It is expensive, but in my opinion if you want your color done right, paying a little more is worth it.

I had my hair done once by Kelsey at Indulgence. Not really recommended--she got my hair too short and didn't stack my layers correctly, and it ended up standing straight up.

Tried Indulgence this week. Went in and spoke to owner prior. I was given the same quote on the phone and in person. It took longer to get my color but I was happy with it. Until I checked out. I was charged $75 more than my quotes. I paid over $200 which I think is a ripoff. I expected it to be more than stateside but not more than quote. Has anyone else had this happen? Is this the normal cost for full highlights and one color on roots? In the states, washing out your color doesn't cost you. But here it cost me 40 to have it shampooed out and dried.
