Hi Jay,

Try Silk Greenery at Mylnar Plaza. Sometimes Cost-U-Less and Price Smart have them.

I would definitely recommend checking the places mentioned above. I also wonder if the Sea Chest carries hammocks. Here's the phone number: 774.0495.

🙂

I got an awesome hammock from REI.

If you can't find a good one on the island, you could always have one shipped from them.

Thanks,
Doug

Home Depot carries them occasionally.

Hi Jay,

I called Sea Chest because I might be in the market soon for a hammock myself. They told me that they don't stock hammocks, but they do sell them on a special order basis.

They also mentioned that they place special orders every other Tuesday and that their next order date is next Tuesday (5/29). If you place your order by that date, and the style you chose is in stock with the vendor, they can have it here in approximately 10 days to 2 weeks.

Hope this helps. Happy shopping!

Best,
🙂 Mell

Also check with Island Empire. They might carry them:

Hi mell. Do you mean you're close to agreeing on terms with the seller?

I think I remember seeing some in Home Again (in Red Hook) a few weeks ago...the hanging ones, not the ones on stands. Good luck!

Try LL Bean if you're willing to get it shipped in.

Hi, I got mine from these guys,
They have a big selection. Don't know if island shipping is an issue for them.
