I've been trying to post an item on ebay. I can't get past the drop down menu for state (argh!). Has anyone out there ever posted anything for sale on ebay using VI? Is there a section I am missing. I have tried contacting ebay, but that's an exercise in futility! Thanks.

I sell on ebay all the time....but what dropdown menu are you referring to? I usually list with Auctiva and haven't had any trouble. If you go to Ebay and click on "sell" and then list 3 key words, and then pick a category, a template comes up that doesn't seem to have any problem for us VI people. ....or are you just trying to log on to Ebay as a seller?

Great question Juanita. I was wondering that myself. I am selling like a mad mad here on this end.

Hey Roger,
Not sure...I've been an ebay buyer for a long time. This is the first time I tried to be a seller. I finally discovered if I went down far enough in the drop down menu (for my state address), "other" was an option. I plugged it in and it seemed to have taken. I got my ad all ready and started to post it, got an error that my "state" was wrong, so I just put in FL. I haven't posted it yet, so when I go to pay (and it doesn't match my credit card or PayPal address), I don't know what will happen.

I'm not familiar with Autiva. Mine is a classified ad. I may PM you for a little more help, if I may. I'll see how it goes tomorrow when I try again to post it. Thanks much.

I figured it out. When you put "other" in the state box another box pops up for you to write in Virgin Islands.
Thanks.
