i wish onika was on here also..everyone is talking bout how good she is..

She is an attorney and had health insurance, so her experiences would not really help you with your concerns. As you know, doctors provide a service for which they expect to get paid, and if you do not have health insurance or sufficient savings to pay your medical costs a clinic is your only viable option. A clinic may not provide the level of service you would like to receive, but they will meet your medical needs at discounted rates. Your pregnancy and childbirth experiences won't have much to do with your doctors, as you will only see one once in awhile, and perhaps not the same one each visit. As for what to expect, you can surf the web and find lots of pregnancy and childbirth information.

I am sure you will get lots of advice so I will keep this simple, our first was born in NYC, our second here, my wife said the treatment and care here was far superior, they have a baby nurse and the mother nurse, guess who is in charge, the Baby nurse, the islands have some of the best records for premature births in the world. Keep checking for names you will do just fine here.
